drifting people
people drift in and out of places all the time, i know. however, it seems more noteworthy here anyway.
we just a good bye lunch for the rodeo coach here. he is a nice guy. that is like the single most common comment about him, is that he is a nice guy.
this of course is just after another staff member here left for a differnt sort of job in a more metropolian area.
and of course eating lunch with the assorted boss type people and their respective wives caused them to remember other leaves. IE more really good gossip. but that is what a lot of locals here are good at.
this in some ways is one of those places people drift out of and then back into again. some all it takes is a small failure at something else, or simply finding a way to make enough to live here. others have sworn off this place for good, maybe a visit years down the line. what is it about small towns that are like this.
