Even though I'm officially done with my first semester of college I'm still completely stressed out.
I got home late Thursday night after packing up pretty much my entire dorm room. On Wednesday I moved out of 205 and into 215. Friday morning I worked at SCU and Friday night I worked at C12. All day Saturday I worked at C12. Yesterday my Mom made me go bake Christmas cookies with a bunch of squirly 7 year old girls at the church she's working at in Foster City. Driving there was completely terrifying. First of all, my car needs an oil change, so it wasn't accelerating as well as it could have been. Second of all it was pouring rain. Third of all my car was being blown all over the highway by huge gusts of wind. It was also really early in the morning. And by really early I mean 9AM. That night I worked at C12.
Now we're up to speed.
Here I am back at my lovely post in the SCU International Programs office. I'm trying to find the Precalculus textbook I need for under $130. It doesn't look like that's going to be a reality. I hate the way they can force you to spend ridiculous amounts of money, just by requiring a certain edition of a textbook. For example, I am required to purchase the 5th Edition of "Precalculus" by Someone Stewart for my math for art majors class. There are hundreds of copies of the 4TH EDITION available online for $20. But NOOO, I must have the 5TH EDITION.
I'm off work here at 2pm. I start at C12 at 3pm.
Tomorrow I'm here once again from 10AM to 2PM, and then I am my mother's slave for the rest of the afternoon. She is having a dinner party and is forcing me to make dinner/ clean the house. BTW my mom is furiously painting the kitchen right now. I don't know why she does stuff like this to herself. She decides she wants to have a dinner party and then decides to paint the living room and kitchen the week before. After I'm done cooking I'm going to head over to the Camera Cinemas Christmas Party!! I'm actually pretty excited about this event, plus it gives me a reason to not be at the dinner party. I just imagine it being really silly... the Christmas Party that is. Plus in every movie/ TV show ever, so much drama happens at the company holiday event.
The next day I have work once again from 10AM to 2PM and then MY ONLY FREE AFTERNOON ALL WEEK!!
I'll probably end up seeing movies because I am very far behind. I haven't seen Harry Potter or Narnia or King Kong or The Family Stone yet.
Thursday it's back here from 10AM to 2PM and then C12 at 3PM.
Friday is a huge giant mystery in my life. Who knows what could happen?
Oh and I haven't bought any Christmas Presents yet.
Crap, the only way I know it's Christmas is that it looks like Santa threw up all over C12 thanks to millions of decorations brought to us by Nathan. We have at least 5 Christmas trees. And there are those awesome things downtown that spray snow bubbles at you. The Christmas tree isn't up at my house yet. I seriously don't have time to buy presents and I don't think I have the strength to deal with Valley Fair.
This was probably really boring. I'm sorry if you made it this far. I will personally invent a time machine just so that I can give you back the 5 minutes of your life that I have stolen.
