Jill Tracy- Diabolical Streak
So glad I finally got this album..... The perfect thing to listen to of a late Winters Day!... Deeply morbid and atmospheric; Tracy's gloriously nasally and seductive songs slide over you like poisonous snakes, accompanied by haunting piano. Like all particulary short but wonderfully crafted music, each song is perfectly individual within it's track and as a collection of songs in the form of this album. Pitfuls, as they may accure even on this occasion 'The Proof' I consider too long and for just over 8 minutes long; I feel could have had less repetitive filler. However the painfully-sweet violin intro to 'Fine Art Of Poisoning' leads you willingly into her deadly lyrics, as well as the the wonderfully sober syncopation of the title track 'Diabolical Streak' does nothing else but play to the heart.

Die So Fluid- Not Everybody Gets a Happy Ending
This album was surprising in how versitle it's turned out to be. It's a rock/metal album for certain but it's so much more then that. I'm shocked intially but delightfully rolling surf-like guitar intro that suddenly gets harsher as the song continues. There are moments when the aggressiveness of tracks like 'Halloween' are off-set by more melondic and deeply intelligent song crafting which makes many of the songs clearly sung and painfully understood like the title track explaining really how really 'Not Everyone Gets a Happy Ending'. However 'Vorvolka' is most certainly be favourite track that I hadn't heard prior to getting the album.

Nana Kitade- Bondage
Strange disc this is.... I'm certain the introductory track and some of the others, come across as challenaging, dicordant and mostly punk of some kind. This is an album which demands patience and really alarmed my boyfriend when I play it. There are actually tracks which are tuneful, cute and fun, but they will shock simply because they feel they don't belong to the album. Will listen to more when I'm in the mood, but it's a selective and unusual album to say the least though it's heartening to know that Ms Kitade has such creative lisence. The Artwork in the sleeve however is beautifully gothic.

L'arc En Ciel- Awake
For a first hard copy of L'arc En Ciel that I possess... this is a wonderous Japanese Rock album, there are tracks which proceed the popular 'New World' here. The third track on the album (I'm don't know the title as it's in Japanese >.<), is beautiful as I'm a sucker for J-Pop and Rock which has a distinctive Japanese feel which this one most certainly has. Each track is equally unique, good syncopation in each some having a beauitful ponderous pop quality or just truely fun boppy rock numbers. I great one to have next to a couple of my Gackt singles collection.

Until next time. CES
