Che Guevara what a truely great person, leaving his country in protest of his right wing government. I wish that I was in a position to do that! Somehow it feels more difficult living on a island. I 'm just making excuses for myself ( Read more... )

Seems to be a human thing, to want to die for a cause somewhere.

As for getting angry at the media, I couldn't agree more (about the only news I ever look at is the BBC web site).

It's kind of worth sitting down and working out quite *why* it makes you angry, though. Is it because of the (apparent) stupidity of some of these people?

I get angry because I see how biased the media is, and the way that the public seem to believe everything they hear!

I know...but if you look at history, things could be a lot worse.

And one thing I'm always struck by, is when I read old books the author is often complaining about the media, the education system, prices going up...(and by old, I mean right back to Plato)

Whch is not to say I don't think the media these days is, on the whole, a bunch of scumsucking parasites who care more about viewing figures than the truth.
