Life ain't always beautiful, but it's a beautiful ride..
and sometimes the ride aint so beautiful... yesterday my sister got into what could have been a fatal car accident. she got t-boned on the driver's side of the car and had to be cut out of the car. i have never been so scared and distraught in my life! we drove 6 hours to get to her.. thankfully she walked away from the accident minimally injured. she was released from the hospital, but has since had complications that we are still unsure about, but basically i just want to say that there is no such thing as luck.. && that God is good, all the time.. and all the time, God is good. Nothing and no one else could have brought her through this. I didn't realize how bad a crash can be until I saw her car at the wreck yard.. even my father who held it together the entire trip until that point, broke down. it was that bad, so please everyone.. drive safe. buckle up. think twice before you decide that its that important for you to get somewhere on time. drive defensively. follow the rules of the road. it could mean your life or the life of someone you love. this entire thing could have been avoided but a person, like you or I, decided they didn't want to stop at a redlight.. whether he was in a rush, talking on a cell phone or intoxicated... it could have been avoided. When you're driving, just drive.
