School is in session once again!
-Womens Modern European History should be interesting and definitely doable, but challenging enough that I'll feel good about it after each class (like last quarter's History of Sex in America)
-Earth's Physical Landscape has been dropped (even though the teacher had an adorable English accent, and was really sweet, and I sat with Chris Hatcher from my Service trip last spring), and now I am in a philosophy class called Issues in Sex and Gender. So...I've still got to worry about fulfilling my last two Science requirements, but at least I'm knocking out one of my PHL classes. The other I think I'll be taking in Athens next year.
-Math with Jane! And Erica (from afore mentioned Service trip), and a girl from Jane's comic book class last year :)
I had time to cook wheat spaghetti and veggies before running to work, which felt like the longest shift I've ever worked, until David turned up and entertained me while we closed. He was invited to audition for Second City, and is very excited about that.
I'm doing all my homework straight away and it feels so good! After breakfast and chatting with K and R breifly this morning I finished all my homework and then went to the Ray before ANYTHING ELSE. I was proud of my workout [thanks Kelly :) ] even though the treadmill stopped before I was finished and wouldn't start up again.
I have Muticulturalism: Gender and Society tonight from 5:45-9pm. I just checked the roster online and WHITNEY is in it too! Whit is a friend from high school. Kayla and Whitney are the only people I knew coming here, and they are the ones from Operation Thunderball (or whatever that was called).
Whit and myself.
My manager cut my hours WAY back at Borders (25-30/week to 8/week. I just wrote my dad a check for $1800 and I owe him $500 more ASAP because I didn't have enough to pay him back for this quarter, and I owe him $300+ for my round trip ticket to SAVANNAH COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN this March when I stay with Mad Sasse!!
Anyway, so because of the desperate need for money I am applying at the DePaul church where
lilylines works! She said they are hiring morning people, and I have MWF mornings off! I am writing up an application after this to drop off and then I'm supposed to call the woman in charge tomorrow.
So that is my tedious, overly informed life update for the week thus far. Hope you are all doing well ♥
