I got The Deptford Trilogy! Now if only Mather Zickel were here to read it aloud to me.
I'm very much looking forward to staying with my cousins (Haley, Nicole, Alyssa) Thursday night through Saturday. Tomorrow I can do whatever I want until Tyler (and hopefully Erik) come over, and then I'm going to Lark's for NYE.

-ice skating and Benjamin Button (!) with Mad, Sara, Mad's sis and sis' boyfriend, Mad's fantastic cousin Elise, in town from Seattle.
Saturday
-British Television Advertising Awards with mom and sister at The Walker (!)
Sunday
-Claire (!) We walked around 50th and France for a few hours until A Christmas Tale started (longer than BButton, but felt shorter), then went to her house where delicious veggie soup and french fries were waiting for us. Also, pumpkin muffins with buttercream frosting a la Hannah! We snuggled up in the giant bean bags and watched Mamma Mia, then Breakfast at Tiffanys because everyone goes on and on about Audrey Hepburn and I've never seen a fucking thing she's in. We fell asleep, so...come back to me on that one. She's a rail, I'll give you that much.

-Shoveling the driveway/sidewalks this afternoon. Literally the highlight of my day. I don't know if that makes me sad and the way I wasted the day (well, sort of) or happy that its the simple things I take most pleasure in. ?
Alexander was my cashier at Target tonight! He didn't remember me, but we had an enthusiastic conversation about...well I didn't really understand at the time, so I can't be expected to know now. I never found out how old he was...he always looks 14 years old. I wonder if he still goes to camp..?
New, hour long, Gervais podcast downloaded today :) It's just him and Steve trying to teach Karl about medicine (the next one will be about art, according to Ricky), but I think that will make it more funny than series 5. I laughed out loud once. ONCE! For shame.
