LAMENT FOR THE DEAD IS AN ONLINE COMMUNITY POETRY PROJECT WHICH WILL MARK THE DEATH OF EVERY PERSON KILLED BY POLICE THIS SUMMER, AND EVERY POLICE OFFICER WHO LOSES LIFE IN THE LINE OF DUTY, WITH A POEM.

I really like how this project is dealing both with police brutality and those who are lost in the line of duty protecting their citizens.
If you would like to participate I have the email of someone you can get in contact with. Otherwise read the poems and support the poets work in Lamenting for the Dead.
