Giving and Taking in a Marriage (but mostly taking ;)
Married life has been fairly blissful so far, but as kookiekitty would surmise - it's only because the Hubby gives in to me (a lot).
Hey, I know that ok. So when the Hubby is sweet to me, I mentally score him with brownie points that can be saved for a rainy day - to be utilized when he's grouchy/ whiny about having to go to work, feeling unwell and/or wants a special favor in the boudoir. *glint in eye*
In the earlier months when we started living with each other 24/7, there were some pretty drawn-out squabbles.
Punishment was depriving him of the lambs' company for the night.
When the going got tough, I started to question in my mind if we were right for each other. Yes, there were those days.
Thankfully, I find us evolving these days.
It's now gotten easier for me to leave him alone to sulk first, and sayang him later. I know he recognizes my flaws, and I've now grown comfortable enough to let him joke about it.
I hope we grow old together this way, with a great amount of laughter and a small amount of happy tears.

On a separate note, I've just ordered my maiden book from Amazon! (Or books, to be more accurate.)
Bought two book sets so I'm now eagerly awaiting three bears and one rabbit to arrive by courier before Christmas, yippee
*claps hands in glee*

Even though they were written for pre-schoolers, I loved the stories and the pictures that accompany it.
