(no subject)
I held the new baby! :-) she's only 2 days old, and cute as a button (as can be expected). I've also been informed that my services as babysitter are going to be requested whenever Rob and Katy can't get Grace to sleep.
funny, but the last time i held a baby who was that young, she seemed much bigger. granted, I was 6 at the time, and Colleen was a pound heavier than Grace.
i'm aparently the first of the neighbors to have met little gracie. kudos for me for being alert to the sound of their door opening, at which point i picked up the blanket i made for them and carefully opened my door. there was Katy with little Grace. she was taking Grace for a walk, and wanted to let the neighbors meet Grace. Perfect timing.
now i have to go see if the machines actually washed my clothes this time, instead of merely making them wet. and cold.
