first class
well, i had my first class at the grad seminary student level. WHAT A CLASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!! terribly exciting. i enjoyed it immensly. so far, it is about exactly what i have wanted to know about from perpectives that have always resonated with me. incredible, isn't it? Just shows you what Providence does for you when you ask for Guidance. and i was given ideas for other classes to take, should i have an intrest in any of this. oh right! the class i just took is Intro to Black Theology. :-D so far, utterly fascinating.
I have discovered, though, that the desks are not built in a manner condusive to my learning. the desk top being to high and too far away from me when i sit in the chair. therefore, i take notes on my lap. yes, my friends, i actually wrote three pages of notes in a notebook. the notebook sitting on my lap. it leaves the desk open for various books we are refering to throughout the class time.
well, convocation is in a few, and i have to get ready to be in the line.
at some point i need to get a low coffee table of some sort, along with a taller counter-like table, one for my living area, the other for my microwave and toaster. plus i need a rug. and i need more groceries. i've been wanting to bake something for a while now. the problems being 1) i haven't got the right stuff, and b) i don't know what i want to bake.
time to organize my books, and then high-tail it to the ceremony.
