I've been watching "Joker" lately...the j-drama (police, suspense) with Ohno-papa and Nishikido Ryo (who's - by the way - a good actor, I'm quite surprised...and he's way more burned than Ohno! but I think I never saw him un-burned?! I don't know, not my field of vision ^.^)
it's a fairly good one. I'm really looking forward how this whole thing would be solved, until now it's quite suspicious and hard to predict (not the cases itself, but the overall story) - and the song for this drama is Rip Slymes "Scar" - a really nice one!
but today I got distracted...by the story and the japanese law...
it seems like it allowed to abuse your kids until they itself don't admit it's abuse, it's labelled "discipline" - I know, that child-abuse is banned in germany, in every form: physical abuse and mental abuse as well, I'm a bit shocked
the story, today was quite personal about a drinking father, and Nishikido's film-father was in a nursing home, couldn't remember his son and lived in some kind of "shiny"-past, drawing child-pictures - that one hit me
edit: here's an article about child-abuse in Japan:
