Today in a nutshell. Went to the chiropractor, went to the inlaws for a visit. The afternoon zoomed on by, the kids napped at the same time, yeah. I'm organizing my itunes, in preparation for the great and wonderful ipod I'm getting for Christmas. Is it Christmas yet?
Jon's got rosy cheeks. What does that mean? I think it may be eczema. I put some cream on it, hopefully it will go away. His 4 month doc. visit is Wed. And if we can hold off going to the doc. until then, that would be great. I'm sure he's fine. Jess had rosy cheeks when she was 6 months, we thought she was allergic to peaches, it turned out to be eczema. He doesn't have a fever, other than spitting up a lot today, he's fine. It's funny how with your second kid you are more relaxed. Well, somewhat relaxed, I never totally relax. Growing up, with my parents, you had to be dead or dying in order to go to the doctor. Many a nights I suffered severely with an ear infection or sore throat, needlessly, because a simple trip to the doc. for some meds could have gotten me better faster. Never will I let my kids go through that. A $10 office call is no big deal for peace of mind, in fact it's PRICELESS!
In other news we got our water bill, it's huge. But it was for the last 3 months, and the last three months it was summer, so that explains it, and we had to have our water meter replaced, so they extended the 3 months by 3 weeks and just gave us one big bill. And of course like they all say, even the water meter lady said, the old ones gears were moving slower, now with a new one they will move more "efficiently". Ugh!!! Oh well, I consider water like heat or air conditioning, I don't give a crap what it costs, it's worth it. I won't be skimpy with that, I like green grass, I like lots of showers, I like to stay cool in the summer, and nice and warm in the winter.
And to top the night off, the camera people called, they said my camera is working fine, they don't see a problem, Grrrr. So that annoys me. They just said keep a paper trail, when it does it, what I am doing, etc. The warranty I think is good until June, so we shall see. I wouldn't do anything during the holidays. I have to have my camera. Borrowing my MIL's is fine, but I miss my own.
That's all for now, other things to do this evening..... all involving my computer... what to do first?
camera,
sick kids,
water bill,
