Combined knitting?
Hello everyone! It is so cool that this community exists :D I haven't made a clapotis yet, but I plan to soon... But I have a couple of questions for this community.
1. Is anyone here a Combined knitter? I love the clapotis but the pattern is not exactly Combined-friendly. What do I do when it says to knit through the back of the stitch to twist it? Can this sort of pattern even be translated into Combined?
2. I've read several places that you can purl the dropped stitches so it will be easier to see them, instead of using stitch markers. But which stitches do I purl? (Sorry if this is a dumb question...) The ones after the markers? How will I know when to purl in later rows--will it just all line up and be obvious? Thanks!
