im so tired of people saying that the new restored Akira dvd with the new script and voices isnt as good as the original english translation. Katsuhiro Otomo had nothing to do with the first one. It was shitty and amateur. The translation wasnt even close the first time. Geez. Otomo was there every moment of this second go around. He okayed everything and said this is how he wants it. fuckers. just because its the first one you saw and it got you all giddy and "freaked out" doesnt mean its the best. slore!.
