I just can't have nice things

Well, I was already planning to post a big long thing about my exceedingly busy weekend, but then events just had to progress in such a way as to monopolize my attention on one particular news item.

I feel your neck pain, by the time I got home with everything and unloaded it all out of the trucks and put most all at least a bit away it was 1am, my back was shot. Fortunately 8 hours sleep, 4 advil and a ben gay patch on the back and I'm in okay shape today. Still a sign I should get back to the gym so one day can't kick my ass so hard.

It could be a battle of the insurance companies, depending on hers and if they accept liability (some companies are NOTORIOUS for never accepting liability for their insured customers, except in very rare circumstances).

They'll probably argue out the "she was backing without knowing what was behind her" vs. "exiting private/parking lot responsible for making sure all traffic is clear in either direction." I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya.

The facts are definitely in my favor, but there are two things stacked against me:

1) Insurance companies, lawyers, and the like are rarely deterred by such petty things as "facts."
2) I didn't file a police report.

Yeah, that #2 is biting me big time.

Oh, and her insurance provider is Progressive, mine's Geico. I've had good experience with Geico in the past, but none what-so-ever with Progressive, good or bad. Any tips from inside the trade?

Guess it logged me out on the top response. Hrm.

They're both okay, I've had both---Progressive first, then Geico. Let them fight it out, that's what good insurance companies are for.
