Armageddon ed. 2009
So in this 2-week hiatus that's been dedicated to school work, I also kinda maybe perhaps made a costume for Armageddon which, co-incidently, was the day *after* all my assignments were due in. Let's just say I've definitely gone up a few levels in multi-tasking.
Falling head-over-heels in love with Kuroshitsuji's Circus arc earlier in the year, Annie and I cosplayed Dagger and Doll for Armageddon! Doll's still only about 85-90% finished, but she was at a wearable-enough stage. So Saturday night I hauled ass to Annie's house to finish (haaaand x_x) sewing trimmings onto her parasol whilst Annie made Dagger's taco hat and finished his other bits - poor dear didn't get much sleep ;___; Because of train works, we had to take a bus part of the way to the con in the morning which was an experience. Annie did her make-up whilst I sewed press studs to her vest and tried not to let my costume bag thwack the (ever so lovely ;0;) guy next to be in the head n___n; (A cosplayer inconveniently taking up masses of space on public transport? Must be Siera. OTL)
After our bus ride, we apparantly had 15 minutes before our train so we settled in (notice my crinoline on the top of the bench?) but the train came and took off a couple of minutes later. 15? MORE LIKE FOUR >O
We got to the con safe and sound (aaah, I just realised we took and blocked a bus, a train AND a tram, HAT TRICK!) and after getting told off/threatened with disqualification from the cosplay comp for being 10 minutes late to pre-juding (even though that wasn't in the rules and our time slot wasn't for another 90 minutes grr) it was time to do the traditional take-over-an-Armageddon-bathrooom thing.

Traditional Armageddon bathroom shot (we missed you, Millie! ;__;). Excuse the onion head and me groping myself .___________.;
We then set off to pre-judging! Even though getting a mouthful from one of the judges had put me in a pretty foul mood, you know what? That doesn't even matter because whilst we were waiting for pre-judging, Seth Green.......yes. SETH FUCKING GREEN. came up to us and asked for our picture. OUR PICTURE. SETH GREEN took OUR photo. OMG. That just MADE the whole con right then and there, we could've gone home! Unfortunately, we were all too star shocked to ask to have a picture *with* him ;_________; And you know what happened after? OMGSETHGREEN's girl friend then came up to us and started talking to us about cosplay and even video interviewed us! And you know what? SHE'S REALLY REALLY HOT. Like, Olivia Wilde hot! Unghghn *tucks girl crush away*
After pre-judging, we wondered around and found Karen, our ickle pauper!Ciel! She's just the cutest most age-accurate Ciel ever! Everything she touches turns to pedo! ;___; We also found

Along these journeys, we found the INCREDIBLY lol-tastic Twilight costume display. I only wish I was joking. You could take pictures of the costume, but not with you in them, you could try them on for $2.........but then not take photos. I think?
Really, we were just giggling the entire time - and who wouldn't? LOOK GAIZ! RPATTZ OFFICIALLY HAD THIS TOUCHING HIS CHEST! UGH! *sparkles*
Also, obligatory shot of the dress that Hot Topic's doing a lolita rip off of at the moment.
BOX CITY! Doll approves of sitting amongs boxes! And look at my stripey stocking! I had to make that thing!
We also bumped into this lovely guy from the 501st called Stu who was collecting money for a children's charity and reaaally really lovely! Also took quite a fancy to my parasol - definitely suits him!

After we'd finally done a loop of the shed, we finally escaped outside. There wasn't a real lot of space, with everything being squished into the one area, but I remember that there wasn't a lot of room to move about last year either. I'd say things were better in 2007, but that'd be because it was the con's first year in Melbourne and because I had even less vision then XD
While chillaxing outside, we got found by slykura , Jess, tastydementia , and a lady who said she'd been chasing us all about the con wanting to have us in a film shoot who won points for this:
Film lady: You guys are just so EXTREME!
Annie and I: OMFG LAAWWWWLLZZ XD
Film lady: No really, you are!
Me: Sorry..it's just a memething...did you want e-mails?
And then it was time for more Karen!

STOP. COSPLAY COMP TIME! It went relatively alright, but I'm going to keep my rambling about the competition to another entry.
Unfortunately, because of a dance class, I had to leave after we'd been on stage and before the judging announcement, but we won Best Group! And uh...briefly caught me a cielrose on the way out?
That's just about all of Armageddon. I literally didn't get to see much of the con (and I think I get extra antsy with limited vision ._.) plus we didn't have a lot of time to faun over things and catch panels either. But I'll keep going to Armageddon...BECAUSEOMGWTFSETHGREEN. <3
