She shifted, blinked, and groaned as she realised she had fallen asleep. Fay was heavy and warm against her chest, and she might have been tempted to stay if not for a vague awareness that something - people learning things, maybe - would want this space soon.
‘Oi. We need to get up.’
A soft but definitely resistant moan answered. Kurogane frowned.
‘Come on. Get up.’
And then sighed as the witch burrowed further into her chest. She really shouldn’t have fallen asleep with her shirt open, but they’d been so tender and then Fay had…
She jumped as a warm, wet tongue ran over her nipple. Looked down to see blue eyes gleaming back at her, just before the witch closed her mouth over the tip of her breast.
‘Unnh… Stop! We have to get up.’
Kurogane choked as the mouth mashed around her. ‘Mmf me fomt.’
‘Don’t talk from there!’
Fay pulled back, licked her lips, and grinned up at Kurogane. ‘No, we don’t.’
And promptly resumed her ministrations, hands moving to slip over smooth, muscled sides.
Kurogane growled.
‘Witch-’
The door clattering loudly open interrupted that particular remonstration. As did the girl whose gaze was steadily shifting away from the grinning white thing on her shoulder.
‘I’m afraid I haven’t seen Kurogane-san or Fay-san for a…’
Something about the way Syaoran gaped and turned bright red told Kurogane she saw both of them now.
Fay, at least, had the tact to slide her lips off the ninja’s right nipple.
A flurry of anxious, stuttered apologies erupted from the doorway, and Fay smiled brightly, tried to wave away Syaoran’s discomfort with her (soft, pale) hand.
It was Kurogane’s personal opinion that if the kid felt the need to apologise (each and every time), then she damn well ought to learn to knock.
She pulled the edges of her uwagi together, and stood slowly. Her limbs felt solid now, body loose, energised, despite the unorthodox sleeping position.
‘You going to take the afternoon session?’ she said to the girl, cutting across the fluster.
Syaoran blinked, and looked at her in surprise for a moment before nodding. The customary resolve returned to her face then, and Kurogane nodded back.
‘Good.’
And she turned, grabbed the witch by the wrist and started towards their room.
Fay grinned like the cat that got the cream (all the cream in existence). ‘Kuro-rin is letting Syaoran teach the class by herself this afternoon. Kuro-mama always knows exactly how to encourage our child.’
‘Shut up!’
But Fay just laughed and let herself be dragged along. They walked for a minute, and then:
‘You do know, Kuro-tan, that you’re going the wrong way?’
‘This is the way to our room.’
‘Didn’t you want to shower first?’
‘Not yet.’
‘Ah! Kuro-lazy’s going to get our sheets all sweaty.’
Kurogane stopped at the door. Her mouth quirked at the lazy smile on the witch’s face.
‘Not just me.’
Fay blinked, and then her smile pulled wider, laughter bubbled low in her throat.
Might as well shower after payback, after all.
And Kurogane shoved the blonde inside, still chuckling; let the door slam fast behind them.

Love how it's set post-series and that all of the characters went through gender-bender (even Amaterasu and Souma). I never read a fem!KuroFai where it's like the canon but just with the switch of gender.
While it's in a way sweet Fai said that the blood is as much a part of Kurogane...I have to agree it's disgusting to be eaten (when really, yeah, she had to feed on Kurogane's blood before, but bleh).
And gosh darn it, Kurogane's got a point. Any Syaoran should know by now to knock before entering.

Ha, ha, I do understand the bleh factor. Fay just ended up with the blood on her, and so I kind of thought, weeelll, he did eventually get to a point in canon where he felt pretty comfortable with Kurogane's blood... what the hell. Plus she knew it would piss Kurogane off nicely. :D But yeah, don't think I would've gone there without the (former) vampire thing.

though I have to agree with Kurogane's saying that licking the blood was disgusting. I get what Fai's saying, too, but still. It's from /there/. /dies
But still, I liked it a lot. <3

Ahaha, yeah, it was a kind of "ah, what the hell" decision to include the blood licking with the (former) vampire and her prey. :D But I did want to see the look on Kurogane's face when it happened, of course.

(Hey, there's a reason why the 'not tonight, I have a headache' excuse has been disproven!)
I don't actually have any qualms about the brief mention of her licking blood from her fingers either. I mean, come on, lesbian vampire being the obvious, but for two people who are that close and comfortable with each other -which, I think, at this stage they very much would be- it gets to a point where inhibitions are very low. I think what I'm trying to say here, anon, as clumsy as my words are, is that it didn't bother me in the slightest- and I found it a very 'Fay' thing for her to do, especially if part of her reason for doing it was to fluster her Kuro-sama.
...Also, fem!Kuro messing about in a kendo dojo is kinda hot. Just sayin'- and the sex was sweet and hot and very nice to read, and the ending? Perfect <3
