Submit: Week 416
While I really enjoy running these mini-challenges, I think it's time to shake things up once again and try something different for the sake of variety ^^' On that note, I was always really sad to have to close mixnmatch_itest as I thought the concept had lots of promise, but frankly there is just no time/energy left for me to re-open it anytime soon... so I thought it might be fun to apply the idea to this community instead, with a few modifications.
If all goes well, we'll probably run these in between the special mini-challenges (which are more conceptual/technical driven in nature) held every 5th week. I'll still give you guys two weeks to submit since real life seems to be getting busier for most members and stick to the public entering system because it's just more fun to get to showcase/comment on all the icons people made, regardless of who wins; plus this way I get a chance to take part myself without actually competing :) I'm also upping the submission limit to three because this community is really becoming more about making and sharing icons than it is about who wins the actual contest... hopefully this brings more entry participation, which might lead to a stronger voter turnout in future ^^' I'll probably still make everyone templated participation banners as I've been doing for the mini-challenges plus placement ones when requested.

You may submit three different CLAMP icons, using at least two of the provided resources for each of them. In the case of text-based resources you need to have at least three consecutive words featured; when it comes to visual-based ones you may manipulate (crop, colour, cut, etc.) them as much as you wish so long as it's still clear they've been used. Additional resources are always welcome.

Submission Rules
Do's
- You must be a member to participate, three icons per member (excludes multiple accounts)
- The icon(s) must be made by you, this includes not stealing icons or copying tutorials
- Your icon(s) must feature imagery from a CLAMP series (anime/manga) or artwork*
*Only Code Geass illustrations drawn by CLAMP themselves are allowed, no anime/manga/etc.
- Your icons must feature at least two of the above resources, please list which ones in your post
- You may re-use the same resource(s) for another icon as long as they still look different enough
- All icons must meet LJ requirements (100x100 and 40 kb or less, gif/jpg/png format)
- They should be recently made to fit the challenge themes
Do Not's
- Doujinshi/Fanart/Cosplay images are not allowed, you must use official art only
- Refrain from using any sexually explicit imagery (exposed private parts) or overly coarse language*
*Graphic violence, artistic/suggestive nudity (with hidden private parts) and mild profanity is ok
Other's
- Please credit outside sources (e.g. brushes, textures, bases, lyrics, quotes)
- You may provide translations/definitions (e.g. foreign languages, tiny text, large words)
Posting
- Make a post at clamp_icontest, it will be put in mod-queue for approval
- Your subject line should read Entry: Week ###
- Include your icon(s), each resource used, additional character/series information and any credits
- You may still link to your icon community as well, for promotional purposes
- I will tag your posts afterwards, no need to worry about that part

You have until Friday, February 28th at 11:00 PM Eastern to submit. A 'submissions closed' comment will be left to inform you of such and any posts in the moderator queue at the time will be approved before I put up voting or the showcase (depending on how many entries we've received).
