Shameless Self-Promotion
I apologize if you're seeing this twice, but I've made a new icontest and am very excited about it XD mixnmatch_itest is a weekly provided resources icontest for all anime, manga and video games where we supply the materials and you bring the creativity.
Each week you will be provided with four different resources to work with: artwork/image, stock photograph, brush/texture and song/poem/quote. Mixing and matching at least two of them, while also adding your own unique elements and personal touches, you will then create your icon(s).
Challenge yourself to try new things, the possibilities are endless!
Week 1's resources have already been posted if you're interested in joining and participating, hope to see you there :)
