Wow... what a weekend.
This weekend was not how I pictured it at all.
Lots of craziness. But isn't that how homecoming is supposed to be?
I expected to have fun, get lots of sleep, laugh at Andrew when he was drunk...
I did not expect to have friends lose their loved ones. That was (is) sad. I'm keeping them in my thoughts.
I also did not expect to fracture my nose in a soccer game on the day of the dance!!! That was harsh. Andrew was very good at taking care of me. And at the dance he kept telling me I was beautiful so that I wouldn't feel self-conscious about my bruised and swollen face. Plus he was drunk, which made me laugh. I fell asleep in that slide show room for a hot second. The pain medicine is really tiring. Today I decided to stop taking it. It's not working very well at this point. I will have to take some before class. Luckily, my face looks about 10 times better than it did on Sunday. Even the black eye is shrinking. I'm gonna need the pirates to learn how to play with sisterhood.
That's right, ladies. SISTERHOOD.
That would prevent about ten injuries people have received.
