If you don't care about quilts or kites, then don't read this.
So I'm making my first quilt.
My mom used to be this amazing hippie quilter lady, so she showed me how. She kept making fun of me since the top was uneven since I made it out of t-shirts (what else?).
It's going to take forever since I'm hand quilting it. I'm using a giant quilting hoop that's like an embroidery hoop, but oval and a lot larger.
Pictures to come, but I can't right now because I'm stitching along every border before I can make beautiful stitched patterns (spirals and polka dots ofcourse) on the actual squares themselves.
AND: When I go to college, I'm going to become a kite girl because I found a panda bear kite and I'm going to fly it in the oval in montana.
