airport time
I'm in the Pittsburgh airport right now...just waiting and waiting for my flight to board. Actually, I have only been here for about a half hour, and due to the Christmasy time of year, I got the airport really early. I have about an hour before my flight boards, so I decided to hit up the wireless internet.
I am sitting in the corner of the food court area...and with me are:
1) a well-dressed 50ish black man reading the sports section of a newspaper
2) A thirty something man eating a big mac (i suspect he has children that he is going to visit...he has a bag from a children's store with him)
3) A twentysomething man with one of the cellphone headsets on; but he is not talking, just writing stuff down on a piece of paper and drinking something from mcdonalds. wait! now he is getting up to go. goodbye man.
4) three asians: two boys and a girl, with big backpacks, eating mcdonalds, and laughing about something.
5) a woman just came, she is wearing purple and eating mcdonalds. Her earrings are ugly.
6) two more asians came with big backpacks.
7) black man just left.
those are my surroundings.
Last night was strange, because so many people were gone from school. After Katie and Jess left me, I packed and packed, and waited for Sarah and Cassandra to come and get me for dinner. We had a delightful dinner, and then I went to Superbowl video and rented "better off dead", because my friend chelsea invited me to watch a movie with her, and she has a VCR. We watched the movie, and it was great. I loved it...i mean, I had seen it before, but it was still good. It's John Cusack, how could it not be good??
Then I had a little christmas time with Kristen, and then back to studying. I got sick of studying, so I hung out with Colleen and Jovita for a while and then finally came back and studied and went to bed.
In reality, I didn't really study for my final. Most of it was pretending. I took the final this morning...it seriously took ten minutes, and then I packed up my stuff and left grove city. I went to Katie's house for a few hours...we talked and ate blueberry pancakes, and she was nice enough to take me to the airport....which is my current located as previously stated. (thirty something man is leaving....extra asian is here).
I found out the Bethany Eichler is on the same flight back to washington, so that could be fun. I doubt we will be next to each other, but you never know, it could happen. I can't wait to go home and just be home home home and away from grove city. I think the break will be so incredibly wonderful.
I forgot to bring my watch with me for the aiplane. So now I will never know how much longer the flight is. But i have a plan: not turn off my cell phone. So, if the plane crashes due to interference of radio waves or whatever...you can blame me.
That's pretty much it for now. I am going to call Emily now.
