Once again, I'm homeless. Ashrey is picking me up in about a half an hour or so, and I'll be staying with her until tomorrow, when I can move into my brand new apartment. Hopefully things go well this year. I stayed with Don last night at his new apartment; it's really nice, and his roomates rock my socks. I'm storing my stuff there until I can move in tomorrow. It's taking up half the living room, and it's a big living room.
I will miss my sublet. It was in this amazing victorian mansion with staircases everywhere, stained glass windows and free laundry. And it was only $250 a month. My roomates fed me free beer whenever they had parties, and it was a great party house, with a bathroom just for parties. And since I never got that close to my roomates, I wasn't involved in their mini dramas. It's harder to be apathetic when you're more involved in people's lives. I'll especially miss having my own room. Chrissy, I'm gonna take your room since I'm moving in first! Ha!
I hope my new apartment is as cute as I remember it being. I bet it will feel smaller than I remember. I think your memory expands rooms. I think Don's apartment is bigger than ours, and he has two fewer people than we have. I just hope I have enough room for all my shit. I think I'll have to sort through stuff and see what I can get rid of. Pare down, de-clutter, de-stress. Ha. You remember Jenn's and my dorm room last year. I'm the worst interior design major EVER.
I think everyone agrees with me when they say they HATE moving. I hate moving. I moved all blessed day yesterday, starting at 7:30 AM. It was not fun. Don and I moved me first (I had to be out of my sublet by 10 AM), and then we moved Don. No fun. We went out to Glass Nickle for dinner, and got the meaty-est pizza EVER. Pepperoni, Bacon, Canadian Bacon, and Sausage. When the waitress gave us the pizza, she said "Here's your Meat-za." Glass Nickle is damn good pizza. It's deserving of all the awards they get.
I won't have internet for a while, until the 27th, so I prolly won't be updating for a while. What will I do without TV or internet? I think I'll die. So, check the obituaries occasionally to find out what happened to me. My mommy suggests reading. I hate reading. It sucks my balls. I makes me tired, and I read so sparatically that I forget where I was in the book, and I have to start over. That's why I'm on page 29 of Catch 22, which I started my freshman year of college. I wonder how I'll get that book back to Dani :/.
Thank god for Espresso Royale. Good, free coffee, free internet, and I can stay here when I'm homeless. I'm in here practically everyday. I think I'm here more often than I'm at Porta Bella.
So, I guess Madison Property Management tries to screw college students ot of their security deposits at the end of the year. I talked to a girl who had them as landlords last year, and she said they tried to do that to her. We'll have to write down and photograph any complaints we have, so that they don't take it from the security deposit, and clean very well, and if they still try to screw us over, go in and yell at them, cuz they're cowards. Also, you can expect 5% interest on your security deposit if you paid a full month's rent as your deposit. We'll have to check into that.
OOOOOOOO! Bunnies! We CAN CAN CAN have mini refrigerators in our apartment. I just called. YAY! So, yeah. Sorry for the long, boring post. I need something to do. Byes.
