  This break floated by with not much for me to do but sit and think. I did a lot of thinking, too much, I would conclude, for some people's taste, as they seemed to express a dislike of my rational solutions to their problems through candid confrontation. And when I say "candid" what I mean is that they told their friends about their feelings
