I can't believe it is almost December already. I seem to have lost November somewhere this year. Probably because I went on holiday so late. The good point was we didn't get the forecast snow this weekend so all the family was able to visit on Saturday. It was good to see them and play with my nephew who at almost turning1 is getting to be fun to play with.
The Christmas preparations are now in full swing. I now know roughly what I'm buying, I just need to order it. I went shopping for my nephew's christmas present yesterday and realised that Toys'rus is not a good place to be on a Saturday afternoon. He had the right idea and slept through it all. I'm just glad my brother is really organised and has bought most of it for me to save duplication with the rest of the family and all I have wrap it and then help him play with it. I need to use internet shopping more.
I saw the new Harry Potter film last night. I'm still a bit undecided about what I thought about it. The set pieces were really well done and Voldemort was good but it seemed a bit disjointed. I think I preferred the Prisoner of Azkaban but that's also the way I felt about the books so that might be part of it. It is worth seeing though.
I got my holiday pictures back today. They are the usual mix of ones to be proud of and ones to hide, especially if I'm in it. It seems so long ago now.
