since i now have some free time, i decided to update. its been almost a
month...my bad. its just so hard to find time to sit down and write. i had
a couple of hard tests last week, so i've basically been confined to my
room, studying. this spanish lit class is so much work! lotsa
stories/poems/etc to read.
the game today was really fun. it seemed like it was over so quick! me,
christina, and dru had a great time in the stands (Christina: "Gator band
is SO INTENSE!") and it makes me realize what a band nerd i really am. i
mean, i have a GREAT time in band! i really do! ok, stop laughing and keep
reading...seriously tho, if i hadnt joined band i wouldnt have met the
other quadfecta members...and my life wouldn't have been the same!
::tear:: oh and HELLO?? if i wasnt in band i wouldnt have met wade. and
without wade i wouldnt have met the love of my life! no, not wade, (altho
you do hold a special place in my heart, babe) i'm talkin about matt OF
COURSE! =) ::sigh:: yes, things would have been very different.
anyways, we won the game today, altho if we had lost i think the UF
students would have crucified Zook. OH! and when we were waiting on the
field to start halftime, we were like 5 feet from Leak! ("I could have
TOUCHED him!")
my family had come to the game, so afterwards they came over to my
apartment and we went out to dinner to Carabas. it was good times of
course. they're hilarious... oh, and lotsa leftovers..yum.
let's see...what else...basically its been band, school, and matt. and
definitely not in that order of preference.
ok, i can't think of anything else. i think my brain is fried from sitting
in the heat all afternoon at the game. DAMN it was hotter than i expected.
cold weather needs to come back!! last night it got down into the 40's and
50's so ash and i bundled up (well, i bundled up really--I'm very
sensitive to temperature extremes) and took a walk around campus lodge. it
was beautiful. so then us, matt and phil went to countryside and got into
the hot tub. that was NICE. (er, uh...i meant-- that was MEAN)
alright i'm gonna go sit on my lazy ass and watch tv. later =)
