tips for walking on crutches anyone....?

so yes, feeling pretty annoyed with myself this morning. i unfortunately had a little (or quite large as it turned out) accident last night, when i landed badly on my knee after climbing down from a tree in our back garden. i actually only dropped a couple of foot, but me being apprehensive about coming down meant that when i landed, i twisted my knee so badly that i appear to have badly damaged the ligament and possibly torn it, resulting in a 4 hour trip to york hospital, x rays and a leg brace and some crutches. so i'm not feeling fantastic it has to be said, just so annoyed that something so little could cause so much pain and inconvenience, i'm going to have to ask people to help me with everything, and coming at the beginning of a term of exams doesn't help either, grr.
so no more climbing for me then.....
