It's been quite a while since I've posted anything over here. Hmmph. Actually, I should really apologise about that shameful blog entry I posted last time. I was just over-enthusiastic, haha.
The fact I did so well in my exams is causing even larger problems (other than me suspecting that people think I'm a boastful bitch..). I'm so confused about what course to take at Uni. After long weeks of deliberation I'm pretty sure I'm going to take Law with International Relations. However, I'm still scared that I will be terrible with the course material. And that I'll find the whole course terribly boring. Aaargh. PLUS, my heart is completely set on me choosing BA English. Urghhh I hate this.
Nevertheless, I'm probably taking Law. (i.e. sticking with what I actually applied for. haha.)
Next topic. The 2007 Grand Holiday Trip for the Bonello Family! This year is going to fantastic. I just know it. My parents and I are going for a lovely 12 day long trip to the UK. We're spending (obviously) 3 nights in London, 2 nights in York, 1 or 2 nights in a random guesthouse which we will just happen to find (in Scotland), and 4 or 5 nights in Glasgow. And we're also driving around all of Scotland and also visiting Cambridge. I utterly cannot WAIT. To be honest, I'm sure I'd be happier if I were to be travelling with a friend rather than my parents, but since I cannot be trusted to take care of myself (and I am completely dependent on others), then it's best that I'm going to be with my parents.
The plays I'm going to see in London this time should be In Celebration (with ORLANDO BLOOM), The Lord of the Rings (musical), and Billy Elliot (another musical). My parents are finally going to see Phantom, yey.
My driving lessons are coming along brilliantly. Except my whole disastrous reversing strategies. And my sudden impulses to just abandon the steering wheel and all the pedals and just sit there screaming. But other than that, my driving is not too bad. (notice how I started by describing my driving as "brilliant" and then moving on to calling it "not too bad". haha.) I did a three point turn last time (which I am VERY proud of). I'm currently looking at some theory test question-y stuff and keeping all of my friends amused when I suddenly ask stupid questions such as: "what the HELL is suspension?". I know, I'm terrible. My next lesson is next Friday since the one today was cancelled due to my instructor being sick, miskin.
Some INCREDIBLE news! I went to the MADC One-Act play festival auditions last Saturday and after a two-minute audition I got a BRILLIANT part in a lovely play called Last Panto in Little Grimley. My director is the lovely Rachel Darmanin Demajo who I love love love. I'm sure she's going to be inspirational and amazing to work with. Nerissa Pace is in the play as well, which is lovely. Rachel's partner (or husband? or fiance? or boyfriend? hmm not sure) is also in it and lastly there's another guy called Noel who I don't know (yet, hehe). Anyway, we have our first read-through tomorrow, which is really exciting wii!
I have to go watch Kinsey. I've been wanting to see this film for AGES but I never got round to it. But I am now. yey.
Last note: I bought a Stephen King book! Yes, I'm going to try and read some "dark" stories. I hope they're not to horrific or anything. I always wanted to read some Stephen King but (again) I never got round to it. Oh, and the book is a collection of short stories called Everything's Eventual.
Take care everyone, hope to blog soon,
