i am eating chicken wings right now. that makes me so happy. i just love meat. ohhh its so good.
today was a good day. i went shopping with my mom and maryrose this afternoon.
my mom made the most amazing dinner EVER tonite. she cooked a turkey and served mashed potatos, broccoli, rolls, etc.
ahhhh it tasted amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we ate at like 4:30 and then i went to the chapel to meet up with jenna and we watched karl play guitar with his band. and i fell in love with his guitar solos and precious voice... and i also fell in love with his brother derek. hehehe. jenna met someone. and when i say she met "someone" i'm referring to a man in which she is going to date. he was very elderly with black glasses and a hat on. so i guess since she is gonna be dating this guy that means she will be removed from the singles ministry. oh well! after that we went to jennas house and had an unofficial movie marathon. it started off with ray charles - which i really enjoyed! and then karl came over just in time for some DeSpErAtE hOuSe WiVeS action!!!! ahhhh DHW is my favorite show, but its SO BAD! i think that watching desperate house wives seriously turned me into a desperate house wife... ya know? think about it! (yikes). after that we watched 50 first dates, and the real world, and snow boarding, and somewhere in there was degrassi too. i seriously never watched so much tv in all of 2005. haha i just got home and i'm happy because i'm eating meat and i'm about to continue reading The Screwtape Letters. one key note that really stuck out to me so far from reading this book is that even when you give your heart to Christ, all of your habits, both mentally and bodily, are still in the enemies favor. that is scary. from just reading the first two chapters of this book i've come to realize more and more how many strongholds satan has on my life. he speaks so many lies into my life. i need to constantly make sure i'm always having conversations with God throughout my entire day and read His word.
