Does anyone out there know anything about Anglo-Saxon Mantels? (the women's over dress/chasuble thing) I've been trying to find more information about what they were made from and am hitting a brick wall. I'm pretty sure the plain twill wool I have will be fine, (nice and warm!) but I'd like to be sure... Also, am I supposed to line this thing?
