It's in the Mail
So I graduated from college Saturday. Weird, huh? I'm no longer a college kid. I still don't have my diploma, but I did get something even better...a job. That's right. I am a junior high assistant band director (well, at least as a long-term sub). I'm picking out pieces for my band as we speak, er, type. My head director was like, "This must be UNT's fastest job placement ever. You've only had your degree for two days and you already have a job." My reply, "Actually, I don't even have it yet. It's in the mail." Still, it's pretty awesome. It's the perfect job for me too, with a director I admire, kids I adore, and exactly the kind of job I want. I can't wait for school to start, even though I'm terrified I'll screw it up. Wish me luck :-D
PS-I still don't have my Texes results yet, but I'm pretty sure I did ok. It was a weird test, but I feel pretty confident that the worst part is just how tedious it is. I guess we'll see on the 30th.
