I don't have a clue
So I've been hanging around and lurking here and there on LJ and I still really don't know how it works. I'm kind of blundering around and making a mess of stuff.
Anyone know of a tutorial or something?
Things I want to know: Is there a way to 'follow' someone's LJ without adding them as a friend, or is friending a sort of substitute for that? Am I supposed to 'track' instead? What are 'Memories'? Is there a way to look through tags? What are communities and if I'm writing am I supposed to be contributing to those? Is there a way to 'follow' a community? Am I being really stupid cause it seems like the Live Journal descriptions don't seem to gel well and are kind of hard to make an overall picture? I'm probably just missing something somewhere.
Gah! I'm so painfully new at this and it sucks. If anyone is willing to give me a kind of overview I would be incredibly grateful.
I have a lot of half written fics, and I'm still trying to keep writing my B.A.P. fics over at AFF, I'll eventually port stuff over, but that's going to take a while to get to. Trying to gather my motivation.
*sigh* Hope whoever reads this had a good Halloween and is going to have a safe Bonfire Night (If you celebrate it, that is).
