Labouring on.
Cora and Tilly are both in this room - Tilly sleeping on the chair next to me and Cocchan - ah, I was wrong about the younger cat! In excitement for her name coming in the mail, she is miaowing at me from the front entryway.
The editor told me she would send me a copy (in November - so if I keep repeating myself about it until then I'm just excited about it). The gist of my first publication is to adopt every shelter animal even if it looks a bit off or else they get done away with, and we don't want that.
To be honest, I don't know if that is actually true, or if it was just something my mother made up to make the unwilling people around her more open to pets, but it got my writing in to the journal so I will say it! Edit: It seemed true, from my research...
