A marquee is "a large tent used for eating and drinking in at events held mainly outside that involve a lot of people" - my mother has hired them before for this and that big celebration that she seemed particularly excited about holding. (I just came across that word in my book and didn't remember what it meant.)
*giggling at the Taylor Swift doctrine* I don't think I actually understand the political prattle in my inbox though, except that it's not safe to be Chinese in most parts of the world right now, which I personally find weird as all get-out since one can't help to be descended from his or her parents.
(At that point I was helping my father pick out flowers for the back gardens.)
The next season is the Fall. What would you like at that time? That is in approximately three months.
I looked back up what VAT stood for today! (It is value-added tax. I might have known that a long time ago but forgot since I don't have to add it regularly to my purchases. I don't think I ever had to, or did it much. I miight have ordered some things that required it before but I am not going to write down exact details since they may be incorrect and I don't want anyone to be upset with me about inexact recollections.)
Personally, I would like for my dreams and aspirations to be realised in a better form. (This begs for the second CCS OP, doesn't it? Let me find it on Youtube.) I don't actually know the second verse yet. Maybe when I get sick and tired of Chinese I'll switch back over to Japanese but I'm not to that level of frustration yet.
When I was going to cons I sewed a Meiling costume (and an Eriol hat but that is a less believable cosplay) which was really quite hard.
Oh, while letting the cat in, I was singing the tune that I had been playing in the music box of this entry, transposed into my range. (The singer performs it too low for me and repeating it exactly hurts.)
I sang it up a third from what I heard.
