I hope my plans work out.

If they do not, I will be sad, and just try, try again next semester with revised plans. The people around me have largely been courteous and kind considering my considerable losses.

Some time ago, I applied to the University of Cambridge as a curiosity.
Oops, this entry was interrupted by my calendar falling off the wall - I was not able to find the pin!

FIVE MINUTES LOST of searching but I found it.

I hope I am still in HTML-editor mode because I have been having trouble lately and the FAQ was somewhat confusing in my opinion because I wasn't able to find the other option very easily.
OK, it didn't work, so I must be in the Visual editor mode.
ERGO...

I turned the air conditioner on upstairs because it is hotter up there than downstairs. That makes sense because heat rises.

It was before I knew they didn't do two semesters spring and fall like West Chester University like my parents and I had eaten all our ramen at, but rather, three: Michaelmas, Lent, and Easter!

I learned through some webinars that Cambridge has a trimester system.

Basically, my strategy from here on out is to survive the rest of my life as well as I can. Today was fairly lazy, but I did colour more of the endangered snake in from my list of endangered species and write back and forth to several politicians about issues that mattered to me!

The University of Pennsylvania's Korean Studies programme has a kawaii semester-start up picture. (I asked one of my friends what kawaii was in this language of study, but I don't remember it off the top of my head. OK - my DW message box tells me it was a series of boxes, with the middle one having a circle in it.)

HOWEVER HOWEVER HOWEVER that's my side-interest! My sister is the original family member who went to South Korea on a photography mission! She was not on a quest to track down her boyfriend who was teaching English there simultaneously. This is what she has told me. (I believe they may have been having difficulties in their relationship at the time.)

It seems like my cut hasn't been working like normal.
Or, in general, LJ has been having issues.
Anyway!

I decided not to pay the expensive meditation fees that the Mindfulism people were proposing (if I had £460 it would more likely go to a flight first. With exchange rates I used to do 2-to-1 when I was a little girl but you can't do that anymore because of the rise and fall of the market.)

I mildly like Economics even if I can't pretend to be an economist - I don't know very much about it. I think my cockatiel Oliver liked it better, judging by how much he twirped whenever I was busy with it.

I think the primary reason it is hot is that it is the end of the summer, and also I tend to make it warmer in the house anyway at the end of the day since I shower at the end and lose body heat when I am wet.

So I am off to do that now, having lost interest in cat videos.

Tchuss.
