clairbourn! Hey, clairbourn! I have news!
I was called this morning and informed that one of my bosses wants me to start being trained on more of the office work at my local paper, specifically putting together the classifieds section. This would put me in the office on Wednesday/Thursday/Friday starting at 4:30pm Eastern, and I already do other stuff in the office on weekends (Friday/Saturday/Sunday @ 5:30). Putting it together, this would have me in the office five days a week, and I'm supposed to have two days off every week as well.
What this means I'm looking at making a complete transfer out of the other department I've been working in, which is something I've been looking forward to for months.
As for why I'm posting here to tell you guys this, it also means I may have to reschedule my life and other activities around the changes to my work schedule again, so this is a heads-up that I might be a little slower than normal over the next couple weeks as I work to adjust. I'm not calling a full-blown hiatus on this or anything because I am going to still be around, but if I don't get around to posts/tags right away in the near future, this is why. If you see me on AIM and need to direct my attention to anything I might end up neglecting during this period, feel free to poke!
