Yachiru stood in front of a video game cabinet, rapidly pressing a button. It looked like a scrolling shooter and the small girl was very focused on the screen. She barely noticed the familiar blonde girl in the arcade, giving a very quick wave before turning back to her game.

...Her ship exploded.

"Darn it!! Not again!" She popped in another quarter and went right back to the game, an odd grin on her face.

Zappa stood in front of a worn out cabinet. The screen was a bit warped from age, but it was a classic fighter. That one with the ability to kill you opponent all at once. He found himself rather good at it. He'd set up for the instant kill input when, out of the corner of his eye, he caught sight of a girl (hopefully) with incredibly long, blonde hair. He looked for only a second, but he missed his opening. He sighed and resumed button mashing. The sight was worth it at least.

He made his way into the arcade and glanced around. Now and then he'd come down here to kill some time. Such was the case this afternoon.

Making his way over to the two pool tables, he leaned against the one that wasn't in use. Looking around, he didn't see anyone he could mooch a game off of. Surely someone around here would be nice enough to lend him a few tokens so he could play. Thinking about it.. he didn't know if he really wanted to play pool to kill time.

Though what else was there for him to do in here?... he heaved a heavy sigh.

Entering... she recognized a few pseudo-familiar faces from school. Johnny kind of stood out, his hair and his shades. Walking by a few cabinets, she recognized someone who didn't stand out much at all, Yachiru! There was another that she thought she knew, only by his body language of suddenly turning away when she looked at him. The question was weither to approach the unknown or Yachiru first.

A few quarters later, Yachiru sighed and gave up on the scrolling shooter. She pocketed the rest of her change and walked away from the cabinet. She noted another blonde, having seen him around school a couple of times. She didn't really have too many friends outside of Dizzy and May, after all. She started to wander aimlessly, smiling brightly.

Zappa kept whittling away at his opponents. Growing bored with continues and dull AI, he gave up on it. Not like he hadn't beaten it before, but, there weren't many games he could play well. Perhaps he would go get a better look at the blonde he saw. Turning around, he decided, perhaps not, having bumped into a small, pink-haired girl. "Oh... my apologies."

Johnny frowned. For some reason, he just wasn't up to try and sneak a game or two outta the front desk lady with charming words. Even though whenever she was working, she'd always give him a free game of pool. His mind was wandering greatly.

He pushed off of the pool table he leaned upon, put his hands inside his pockets, and headed toward the exit.

Well, that decision was made easy. She watched as Yachiru was struck by the brunette boy. Leaving them be for a moment, she turned to the pool tables, where Johnny had been standing. As cute as he was... she was now rather weary of him. But, it did kinda suck that he was all alone like that.

Yachiru fell flat on her butt, letting out a high-pitched yelped. "Oww, watch where you're going!!" She stood up, rubbing her now sore hip, pouting. "Hey, you go to Clairbourn, don't you? I'm sure I've seen you around!"

"I'm terribly sorry." he said, offering his hand out to help her up. He needed an excuse to have hit her, other than having looked completely over her head. "I... was still absorbed in the game I just gave up on." He nodded in response to her question. "Yes. And... you're Coach Zaraki's niece, aren't you? The one who gives out nicknames?"

He stood near the doors of the arcade for a moment or two. Turning around to look over the scene once more, he looked for any familiar face. He needed someone to talk to about what happened yesterday, but didn't really see anyone.

Perhaps a few familiar faces due to walking the halls of school, but that was it. Yet he did spy that Zappa kid.. and his eyes narrowed behind his shades. He decided it best he go and take his presense elsewhere, or he might cause trouble.

Sanji stood on the pad of a "Stomp Stomp Evolution" cabinet. He was just on his way to the store to pick up some ingredients to cook something over the weekend, however his attention was averted when he saw a cute girl entering the arcade and as such immediately rushed in with hearts in his eye and love in his libido. However the girl was no longer in sight. That's when his attention was brought to this large machine.

Personally Sanji never enjoyed Arcade games for it required to much use of his hands, and in his opinion he should never taint his hands with anything less then cooking. But the loud noises and flashing lights attracted him to this large machine and now as he stood on the machine's pad he though, "Eh, might as well, it's only 75 cents."

He dropped three quarters into the coin slot.

STOMP STOMP EVOLUTION!
"Oh jeez..." she whined. She thought the fad had died out years ago. She was only into it for a year herself, but, it was all the 'elitists' that made the game a chore to play anymore. She walked by Yachiru and Zappa, putting herself in a better view to see who has started up the game.

She squinted a bit... Was that the Home-Ec teacher?

Yachiru took Zappa's hand and helped herself up. "Yeah, that's me! The name's Yachiru Kusajishi! Some people are scared to talk to me because of uncle Kenny...but that's okay!" She grinned and peeked around, noticing Mina again. "I think I see some other people from school...I don't know them personally so I'm kinda scared to approach them."

"Zappa. Zappa Franklin." He was actually more worried about calling her short than her being related to the faculty. His gaze moves to her focus, catching sight of the blonde that distracted him before. "Oh? She goes to our school? Really?" Perhaps he was a little too enthused about that... "Well, should we go say hello, then? She... I think I know who that is. And... she's not threatening at all. Not in the slightest..."

As Sanji continuously stomped his feet on the pads to the Soul Beat of "Hollywood Swinging" he couldn't help but feel at one with machine as he spun around on it and touched his feet on the pad. But it seemed that as soon at the game had started it had already ended. The faculty member unbuttoned his collar button as he looked on to the screen.

"YOU RECEIVED A C+, 4 TICKETS!"

"Just a C+?!" Sanji yelled, "But that was almost perfect! I demand a B!"

"NO WAY MAN! C+"

The man huffed and grabbed his 4 tickets from the dispenser, he turned his head and saw that someone was looking on at his performance. The man quickly ran up to the girl and with on arm stretched over the cabinet and hearts in his eyes he said, "Why hello there cutie, what's your name?"
