Who: May, Johnny.
Where: On a street near the school, then to Bridget's apartment
When: Friday October 12th, just after school lets out
What: May runs into Johnny while waiting for Bridget near the school.. drama ensues.
RATING: PG-13 For May's sailor mouth :D

He never really went to his own classes since May had disappeared on him. Rather he went to her own classes and sat outside, waiting to see if she should show up, if at all.

It never really dawned on him to ask those that May might've become friends with as to where she might've been. He was too worried with the fact, should he ask for help things might turn around on him, and thus landing him in a heap of trouble.

So after school, he made his way off in the direction of downtown, hoping he could find her there someplace. As he walked, out of the corner of his eye he caught sight of something. He had to take another look, and to his surprise, it was in fact May. Apparently she didn't see him yet, so he made his way over to where she stood.

May was getting really impatient.. maybe Bridget was staying after school or had gone another direction after all. So after that long while, she shrugged and decided to just head back to Bridget's house, to wait for him to get home there.

That's when she turned on heel and saw Johnny, freezing on the spot. Her face turned from surprise, to sadness, then to anger, and she stood staring a moment with a deep scowl before she turned on heel /again/ and bolted off in the other direction.

Catch her if you can!

He blinked as she suddenly turned tail upon sighting him. What was with her..? In all truth, Johnny didn't understand this at all. He had been looking for her since she had gone, and somehow had managed to stay awake each night, should she show up in the middle of the night.

So yes, he did in fact run after her.

"May..!! Wait!"

"Leave me alone!" She yelled back as she continued running; she sounded like she was crying. Darting off the sidewalk and into the nearby park she continued on, not bothering with the trail that cut right through the park to the other side of town but darting into the grassy fields beside them, hoping to lose Johnny through the trees and sheer distance. She knew how persistant he could be, though, and she was running out of breath- especially since her breath was being stolen by tears.

Why did she want him to leave her alone?... gritting his teeth he pushed himself to move faster. He had to talk to her, and understand what was going on. Mere text over the school's network wasn't satisfying at all.

Slowly, step by step he was gaining on her. Eventually he was close enough to snag her by the shoulder should he reach out to grab her. Though he didn't wanna outright have her fall over.. so he tried to get ahead of her.

May was snagged, but as she whipped around to face Johnny, he got a facefull of whale! SMACK! She struck the giant plushie as hard as she could at Johnny's face, hitting point blank so she could try and get away again, and stumbled backwards. "Can't you hear me you dumb jerk!? I said go away!!" she sobbed loudly before turning to try running again, hugging her whale to her chest. However, he would just be able to gain on her again of course. She may be smaller and more agile, but he had longer legs and strides and could catch up easily with less effort.

Having been smacked in the face with a plushie left him a little bewildered. Shaking the initial shock off, he darted after her again.

Stepping out in front of her and snagging her by both shoulders he held her firmly.

"I -won't- go away until you give me a reason why I should. I good valid reason. May I want to know what I did so I can fix it."

Sailor she may not be... but she has a mouth like one.

Glaring up at him with reddened eyes she shouts, "BECAUSE YOU'RE A MAN-WHORE!"

She stares him down(up?) right in the eyes awaiting a response, mouth set in a firm line as her eyes continue to tear up.

He blinked at her response.

"What are you talking about?"

It was apparent that he wasn't at all hurt by what she had called him. Though he had developed the art of holding in his feelings, and be strong for others.

May growled and slapped his hands away. "I'm not stupid! I know you were screwing around with that weirdo Venom guy! You're a cheating, lying, heartbreaking JERK! I don't need to slum around with you anymore cuz I have real friends now!" She tries to push past him and keep running again.

He wouldn't let her leave just like that. So he darted after her again. Standing infront of her once more he grabbed onto May's shoulders and wouldn't let go at all. She was not running this time.

"I didn't cheat on anyone! He's merely a friend and nothing more!!" It was obvious that he had never once thought of May as his girlfriend. "I don't know where you got these ideas from, but I would never dream of harming you. That and your vague answers aren't telling me anything. Should I be angry and upset at YOU because you yourself made a few friends? No, in fact I'm glad for you that you're finding new people. If I was really making you that unhappy you should've just told me and I'd do what I could to make it right."

May droops like a dying flower. "... so that's it, huh.." She mutters, not bothering to shrug you away and just keeping her head hanging down, tears running down her cheeks. "I'm just a dumb kid after all, aren't I...? I couldn't even tell what I was to you..." She squeezed Yamada tighter to her chest, sobbing.

He frowned, just a little irritated with this. He wasn't at all used to this type of behavior and was uncertain how to handle it.

"You're not a dumb kid. May, you're my friend. You're someone very dear to me, and I'm bothered that I've upset you, yet you won't tell me the specific reasons why so I can fix it."

He sighed heavily. "Don't cry. Why don't you come back home now...? I miss you. Janice misses you."

May was really just embarassed out of her mind to admit that she had thought they were an item for so long, so much so that she couldn't even bring herself to say it. "I-I just.. I always thought that you were a little more than that..." she sniffles quietly.

She slumps her shoulders, trying to slip away from his grip and go back to Bridget's place. "..I'll think about it.." she mumbles quietly, rather displaced in her thoughts at the moment. She needed to sort things out..

He didn't let her go.

"May.. you can come home right now. You don't have to think about anything."

He was being his persistant usual self. Hopefully she didn't lash out in anger again.

May looked up at Johnny with her sad, leaky eyes, trying to be dead serious for once. "N-No.. I really do... Please?"

She hoped he'd just let her go, for now. At least now she knew the truth..
