Experiment 1. Socializing.

WHAT: Time to meet the school's resident quiet mouse.
Always in the back, always quiet, and always reading. Abigail could have completely faded into the background if she wanted to- and most of the time, she did. Only the sounds of slight wheezing and the turning of a page came from her direction, perhaps the clink of keys or a slight groan in the seat cushion when she shifted her dangerously light weight would alert anyone as to her presence. It was, by now, her natural habit, to be as silent as she was. 'Children should be seen and not heard'. The most sound she had ever made was a violent coughing fit on a day in which she was feeling particularly ill but had insisted on attending school.
But now, after finally logging into the network after much gentle prodding from Ukitake and Michelle, it appeared that she had made something of 'friends' in the student body. She had never met them, save the boy in her own class, however it was hope yet for the meek girl. At least, she thought to herself, she could get some interactive data out of this if nothing else.. And so she sat in the library as always waiting for these mysterious new 'friends' to appear, slowly nibbling on a watercress sandwich with an old, leatherbound book open before her as her eyes hungry for knowledge took in the words.
