Matt decided to pop into the library, figuring he might find who he was looking for inside. There had been a few students he got along with and he felt an odd connection with one of the new kids...He shook the odd feeling he had when he spotted Hiram. A huge grin plastered on his face, Matt plopped down across from him.

"Hey, what's up? Since I haven't seen ya 'round before, I'm gonna guess yah tha new kid, right?"

His shoulders arch up for a moment in surprise, most likely lost in his thoughts that entire time. It didn't help that Matthew was loud, either. When he turns to face him he can't help but smile a little, but the enthusiasm flattered and nearly overwhelmed him. He blushes a little, out of shyness.

"That'd be right," Hiram manages in that mellow drawl, making him sound more composed than he really was.

Aw, shit, that's freaking adorable. Matt's grin gets wider and he leans back in his chair.

"Name's Matt, we, uh, sorta talked on tha network. Wasn't really expectin' ta find ya so easy."

...Well that explained more than enough. He clears his throat and starts fidgeting with his hands. Wow, he tried to find him?

"Don't suppose it could be too hard, now..." Lies.
