Like Simon had said to Kamina, he wasn't that serious about carving, but it'd be nice if he could learn to carve without cutting himself. He just hoped that Sanae's mom wasn't as strange in person as she sometimes came across as on the network.
So with his carving tools and a couple of his better carvings wrapped in newspaper in his bag, he headed for the biology classroom. The door was open when he arrived, but he still knocked before entering.
"Ms. Moriya? It's Simon."
