Fuck.
Zero couldn't help but glare at the ground, directing his anger there, like he was willing it to strike up at him, and hopefully take out the entourage of security guards that had him, arms locked behind his back, doing his best Dead Man Walking impression to the head security office. He didn't know what went wrong; after numerous raids against his father's factories with Leviathan, he was sure he couldn't screw one up, even if he was planning it mostly on his own. Here he was, though, being herded by a handful of men with nightsticks, a few of which had actually landed on him before they'd been able to get him pinned. Sure, he fought like crazy, but he was one teenager against a handful of trained professionals, and without any 'multiple opponents' tactics, he was as good as caught the moment they set eyes on him.
He didn't know if Kallen had been taken down as well, or if she'd been able to get away; he prayed silently he'd be taking the fall solo. Call it a martyr complex, or call it hero syndrome, but Zero didn't want someone else getting slapped with the repercussions of this botched attempt. In fact, he was suddenly glad it had only been the two of them; if anyone else had come along... His thoughts drifted to Leviathan and her brothers. Wonder if they've been in this position a few times...
He looked up as they approached a card-locked door, looking to be one of the main offices. Security, he guessed, using obvious situational cues. Hands still restrained, he set his face like he would have before a kendo match. No tells, no twitches, no signs of emotion or weakness. It would have helped if his ski mask hadn't already been taken, but sometimes, you make do with what you've got. His lips tightened as he prepared to face whatever music was inside.
