"Phew..."

It seemed all that Terry did lately was train. Ever since he'd found out about the King of Fighters Maximum Impact tournament, he'd been preparing himself, mentally and physically. Every day, one homework and dinner were done, he could be found training, working on tightening up his technique from the rather loose barehanded brawling he'd been taught by his father. Sometimes, Master Tung had to force him to go to bed, as the boy would surely train until he was simply too exhausted to continue. What drove him to such devotion? Did he really just want the prize money, the fame and adoration that came with winning a worldwide tournament?

No.

He wanted justice. Strike that, he wanted revenge.

And KoF was his best option. The sponsor, of course, was the Howard Connection, the international shipping and freight company owned by Geese Howard, the man who killed his father in combat. The man who forced Terry and Andy to leave Southtown. The man who, with a single punch, brought the young Bogard to his knees. Terry wanted to make sure Geese knew that he was coming. It might take a year, it might take ten years, but one day, Terry would find a way to face off against Geese, one-on-one. And when that day came, only one of them would walk away.

So he trained. He rarely played basketball any more, and had all but given up video games. He'd even been eating less junk food, in order to help strengthen his body. He'd even been seeing less of Chun-Li, due to his training. Heck, if someone were to think about it, they'd wonder if Terry had started taking after his younger brother! But this was Terry at his most determined level.

When a wolf is hungry enough, he can surprise people with the tenacity of his jaws, the sharpness of his fangs, and the power of his bite.

terry, chun-li
