Homecoming Dance

Rally Stood nervously over looking the Ball room. Tables had all been set with candle, and starched white table clothes, music was softly coming out of the speakers and the Dj finished setting up. His lights played over the dim room splashing color here and there

"I've never been to a school dance before either." He told her quietly. It was kind of silly to think about, actually. Sakuma Ryuichi, popular singer and idol, had never actually been to a school dance. Actually, Ryuichi wasn't entirely sure that he could dance. This wasn't like dancing at a concert, after all. Still, he was there with Misuzu and they would see May and Duey. Even if he found out that he was a handsome rockstar, and a completely horrible dancer the evening was guaranteed to be fun.

It had actually taken Ryuichi a while to get ready for the dance. While he wasn't one to normally be concerned about such things if it didn't involve his professional life, Ryuichi figured he should try to look nice. What was a dance, if one didn't play along and dress up for no real reason. Still, he wasn't about to be uncomfortable all evening so, under his pinstriped suit, Ryuichi wore a stylishly dyed T-shirt. He was expected to wear the entire ensemble plus some utterly ridiculous looking accessories for a photo shoot when he returned to Japan next month, but he figured testing it out before hand couldn't hurt.

"Ne, Mizutan... Shall we dance?" Ryuichi said, holding his hand towards the dance floor in a decidedly over dramatic way.

At his soft reply, Misuzu gave him a tiny smile and squeezed his hand as they watched the dance floor for awhile. She sneeked a peek up at Ryuichi again. He never dressed this way much so it certainly surprised her..he looked really nice.

The request took her by surprise and she blushed bright red. Misuzu never really danced with someone before like what the others already on the dance floor were doing.
"G...ga..Gao." she squeaked before taking his hand and nodding her head and giving a shy smile.

"O-Okay! Lets go Ryukun!" Misuzu replied.

Ryuichi lead them to the center of the dance floor. He didn't know the music they were playing, but it was okay enough, in an average poppy kinda way. Finding the rhythm he bounced along, being sure to maintain a respectable distance from Misuzu. Even if he was her date, Ryuichi couldn't help but be aware of the age difference.

Trying to think of an interesting dance they could do together, he remembered those videos May had showed him. Ryuichi giggled, imagining a little animated Mizu flapping her arms back and forth. "Ne, Mizu... Do you know Caramelldansen?" He asked, hoping she could hear him over the loud music. He tried to imitate it, hoping that even if she couldn't hear him, she'd get it.

Misuzu wiggled her nose in embarassment as she tried to dance like Ryuichi. She never really learned before so it felt akward for her. Misuzu wiggled along with the music, though she never heard it before.

When Ryuichi started to talk again, she leaned closer to him and blinked curiously at what he was trying to say. When he did the motions thought, she immediatly connected what he was implying and smiled brightly. Misuzu nodded and started to do the caramelldansen as well, giggling the whole time.
