I don't hate the unknown, I just fear it

What: Kula's got her own family problems
It wasn't the weather that made Kula shiver. It wasn't the thought of some assignment looming over the horizon. It wasn't a fallout with a friend, and it wasn't doubts about her relationship with Lelouch. No, Kula shivered, a sight most never saw, because of family. Her parents were the most loving individuals she had ever known, moreso than those she had heard about from her friends. But now, family that was not family had her worried. A man she only knew by legend, a 'father' who was more like a bogeyman, was in town... and though they had never met, she still lived in fear that they would.
She'd been staying between Orihime and Akiha's houses for the past week, and while she was very grateful for their hospitality, she could not, in good conscience, stay with either of them the whole time. She was certain it was a burden. That day, she'd hoped to catch Lelouch after school, since they hadn't spoken much since she began going elsewhere from campus. She needed a certain reassurance, one she thought he may be able to provide. Perhaps, too, if the offer was still open, she might stay over with him, at least tonight.
