Duo was still gnawing on the remains of a BLT sandwich as he and May made their way into the park proper, Duo quickly spying an empty bench in the shade and flopping down on it, switching from the sandwich to the soda cup in his other hand, slurping noisily through the straw. He'd felt generous, so he'd treated May to a lunch at a nearby deli, having craved something with bacon for the past day or so.
"Ahhh, man. I wanna go swimming. The beach was awesome." He recounted their recent trip to California. "Where's a pool when you need one?"
