"Wow..." Orihime breathed, her head tipped back to take in the sheer loveliness of Kula's home. She was continually impressed at how many schoolmates had such wonderful places to live. And that she'd be invited to boot! Awesome.

She could have asked Kamina for a ride, but with the horrendous price of gas, she decided to save him the trouble by just hopping onto the bus. Easy, fast, and no hassle for him! Cradled carefully in her arms was her very own specialty dessert, a cake with alternating layers of puff pastry and yellow cake with sweet bean paste and sliced bananas for the filling, and then covered in chocolate ganache. It was her very best recipe, she felt, and she hoped it made for a suitable present! Orihime didn't have much money, and she didn't know Kula well enough to guess what she liked. So hopefully she liked sweets!

Besides, this way there was an emergency cake in case something happened to the birthday cake (heaven forbid). Always good to have on hand at a party!

Fighting back a grin (and failing), Orihime hurried forward to the door. It seemed like a lot of people were here already. Hopefully there would be someone she knew! And if there wasn't, then hopefully they'd like her just the same!
