Outside on the sidewalk, Lelouch finished off the milkshake he had snuck into the theater. For the entire showing of There Will Be Blood, he had nursed the thing (even through that scene). The last gulp of sweet milk and strawberries passed his lips and he tossed his cup in a trashcan.
He was patient. He was ahead of Nina on the bet. Thus he said to Kula: "Would you like me to walk you home?"
