Waiting For a Star to Fall
WHO: Kamina, Orihime Inoue
WHAT: There are 'things' that Kamina wants to discuss with Orihime. Naturally, she agrees to meet with him after school when his kendo practice is finished.
WHEN: March 31st, 2008 - After School
WHERE: Karakura High Parking Lot
The day proved to be a sunny one, though cold. Hard to believe it was really spring, with the cold snap that seemed to have affected most of the nation. Canada too, from what she'd heard! So Orihime wore a beige sweater vest over her white blouse, and long white stockings to keep her legs warm beneath the heavy canvas skirt with the red flowers embroidered up the left side. She held her bookbag in her hands, leaning against the wall of the school building. Her head was tipped back, her gaze turned skyward though she wasn't watching the wispy little cirrus clouds up above.
The only way one would know she wasn't daydreaming was the mouth. It didn't hang open like it usually did. And there was a crease in her brow as well.
Something was probably bothering Kamina. She thought she could guess what it might be, and it didn't have anything to do with the prom. Still, if it was what she thought it was... Then it wouldn't be so bad for either of them when it all came down to it. Just the same, she didn't want to jump to conclusions, so she'd wait, and see what he had to say. Orihime was always ready to listen, and she liked Kamina a great deal.
Hopefully kendo practice would end soon. So windy, brrrrrrrr...
